On Fine Art Abstract Photography and Following Your Own Path - Guy Farmer Photography

I’ve often felt out of place when I’m around people who enjoy being part of the crowd, which is a major reason I create fine art abstract photography. I’m too much of an independent thinker to find comfort taking photos that appeal to the mainstream.

It’s important to me to be an individual and live life authentically. I take photos that deviate from the norm and don’t look like everything else out there. I don’t set out to be different, it’s just how my work comes out.

It’s essential to me that my photos reflect my identity and the things I value. I relish creating works that express my natural impulse to go against the status quo.
