On Fine Art Photography and Going Against the Status Quo

I’ve never been a person who finds comfort or pleasure in going along with conventions or norms, which is one of the reasons I love creating fine art photography. I value being a progressive thinker and coloring outside the lines and I trust my inner compass.

Following the rules really doesn’t matter that much to me, I listen to my heart and chart my own course. I don’t care what other people say or do or whether my work sits well with them. What’s important to me is to express myself authentically and let my true self shine.

It has made a huge difference in my life to challenge mainstream thought and do my own thing. I get to take photos I love and live genuinely.
