Why I Love Creating Abstract Photography

I love creating abstract photography because I think abstractly and relish the feelings that come with not knowing all the answers and discovering new things about myself and the world around me.
I’ve always been drawn to art that is ambiguous and encourages me to think expansively. There’s something that resonates with me about a photograph that says a lot without depicting something concrete. I like to fill in the blanks myself and make the work part of my own story.
I live in the more nuanced parts of the universe, where answers aren’t always evident and I’m able to explore freely. I like living in the ether rather than where everything is spelled out.
